Luisa Conte, founder and soul of the Sannazaro theater. She had started acting when she was a teenager in the Cafiero-Fumo theater company. She was not only a great actress, as Lara Sansone also testifies, but also a professional comedian and tenacious entrepreneur, a forerunner of the career women of our day. The exhibition “Luisa Conte La regina del teatro Sannazaro” will not be an isolated project but opens a path on the Neapolitan actress and entrepreneur that includes a series of initiatives including the production of a documentary on her life.
At the opening of the exhibition there was also a visit from the former mayor of Napoli Luigi De Magistris, an avid fan and supporter of Neapolitan culture, who, already in 2020, had inaugurated in Napoli the little square at the foot of the staircase named after Francesco D’Andrea, in the Chiaia district, near the Teatro Sannazzaro, a tribute to the memory of the Neapolitan actress.
