Registrations open for the class action lawsuit “Acqua Pura” (Pure water) for damages from microplastics present in bottled water
Rome, December 19, 2024 – To protect the rights of consumers of natural water, the class action lawsuit called “Acqua Pura” has been opened. The initiative is open to all those who wish to join in the lawsuit against companies producing natural water, for misleading advertising.
In recent years, it has emerged that many natural waters contain particles of micro and nano plastic, often present even before bottling. This raises questions about the veracity of the claims of naturalness of the advertised products.
“We believe that consumers deserve to know what the products they buy really contain and that companies should be held responsible for misleading advertising practices“, say the promoters of the initiative.
Plastic is a human invention that Mother Nature is unable to dispose of. Today, we find it everywhere: in the soil of our fields, in our homes, in the air we breathe and even in the water. It is essential to be informed and act consciously to protect our health and the planet.
“Registration for the class action lawsuit costs 70 euros. Each participant will be entitled to claim compensation of 180 thousand euros for misleading advertising, thus helping to ensure justice and transparency in the water market. Together we can make a difference and ensure that the truth comes out for the good of all consumers“, conclude the organizers of the class action lawsuit.
All interested parties can join this important battle for truth and justice. Registration is open and can be done through the website or by contacting the email info@pretium.it.
