Until March 31st on the Rai platform the special “Verso il trentennale” of the prestigious cinematographic award, organized in Sorrento in media partnership with Rai Cinema Channel.
ROME – Until March 31st on the Rai Cinema web platform it will be possible to view the special “Verso Sorrento 2025”, designed to accompany viewers to the thirtieth anniversary of the prestigious Premio Penisola Sorrentina, which will be celebrated in Sorrento next autumn.
The institutional board will be chaired by the Mayor of Sorrento, Massimo Coppola.
“The world of cinema, audiovisual and entertainment gives us the opportunity to show our beauties and make them accessible to everyone, increasing the desire to discover and return to Sorrento“, declares the mayor in the special, directed for Rai Cinema Channel by director Alberto Nigro.
The story of the event, included in the national film promotion plan of the Ministry of Culture and the Film Commission Regione Campania, unfolds through the testimonies of protagonists of the world of cinema.
From Anna Foglietta to Luca Ward, passing through Francesca Cavallin, Nadia Rinaldi, Luca Manfredi and Luigi Lonigro, director of 01 Distribution- Rai Cinema.
Meanwhile, in Sorrento, preparations are underway for the celebrations of 30 years of activity.
The Organization, led by Mario Esposito, has already developed a series of special projects and collateral events of national importance, including an exhibition dedicated to the Grand Tour. The television co-productions of the events are promoted by the Municipality of Sorrento.
