In one of the icons of the city of Napoli, we enter with the Neapolitan language with the event:
“Le quattro giornate della lingua napoletana” (The four days of the Neapolitan language)
A title that recalls the popular resistance which, in this case is cultural and linguistic towards the Neapolitan language (intangible cultural heritage of the city and its people) which, declared “vulnerable” by UNESCO, really risks seeing its spelling erased due to social media and the massive dissemination of texts written without any linguistic logic.
Event promoted by I Sedili di Napoli and organized by the Ass. I Lazzari which will include speeches by figures from the artistic world, conferences and a basic mini-course, curated by Davide Brandi, on how to avoid gross errors in writing.
It will start on Saturday September 28th 2024, from 4pm.
