
“Meet & Talk” is the special event towards the thirtieth anniversary of the Premio Penisola Sorrentina (Penisola Sorrentina Award), which will be hosted at the Correale Museum in Sorrento on the morning of October 26th before the awards show
Sorrento (NA), October 9th, 2024 – The program of the 29th edition of the Premio “Penisola Sorrentina Arturo Esposito”, the event promoted by the Municipal Administration of Sorrento and directed by Mario Esposito, is enriched with a further, prestigious, event.
The appointment, with free admission, is set for 10.00 on Saturday October 26th, at the Correale Museum in Sorrento which this year celebrates its first hundred years.
“The film industry and cultural stories compared”, this is the theme of the talk show, which will see two plots alternating on the set set up in the Hall of Mirrors.
The first, dedicated to the industry, will be coordinated by Pier Paolo Mocci of Fortune Italia Entertainment (media partner of the Award together with Rai Cinema Channel); the other, instead, chooses as its claim “Stories and lives of an actor” and is curated by Francesco Branchetti, actor and theatre and television author.
Before the talk, which will anticipate the show of the delivery of the cinematographic and audiovisual awards, included in the Cinema Campania 2024 plan of the Film Commission Regione Campania and scheduled for the afternoon (public entrance: 5pm) at the Teatro Tasso, the guests and conference participants of the Award, welcomed by the President of the museum institution Gaetano Mauro, will visit the new archaeological section of the Correale Museum, recently opened following a skillful restoration and restoration work.
Among the protagonists of the 2024 edition of the “Penisola Sorrentina”, which will open the year of celebrations for the thirtieth anniversary of the award scheduled for 2025, there will be above all young people and the university world.
