The rise of Chris Matteis the next America superstar! By U. Maima
New performers constantly surface in the entertainment industry’s dynamic terrain to enthral viewers with their performing skills. Chris Matteis is one such young star who is certain to make a lasting impression on the business. He is a rising talent in the acting industry who was reared in New Haven, Connecticut. From a proud Italian-American family, he is the youngest of two children, and during his high school years, he had an unexpected introduction to the world of acting. He found his love for acting after appearing in a drama club-produced PSA against bullying. After earning a B.S. in Business Management/Entrepreneurship and playing D1A football at the University of Connecticut in 2015, he started a professional acting career.

Chris Matteis is regarded as an honest, devoted, and diligent individual. Those that are passionate about what they do typically have an optimistic outlook and think that they can achieve anything if they put in enough effort. The youthful performer takes great satisfaction in his genuine kindness and his willingness to follow his aspirations. His message is quite clear: those who don’t genuinely want to cross the brick barriers are the ones who are kept out, not you. He is pursuing his dream on his terms, with humour and integrity intact, and with unwavering determination, all the while understanding that the passion he has by his side is what matters most. Matteis considers himself to be an aspirational actor who is always looking to get better at what he does. He strives to produce art that really connects with viewers and is willing to be vulnerable.
An unconventional acting career
Matteis didn’t have a typical acting career. He has always had a strong love for television and films, but at first he thought acting was an unattainable job. When it comes to entertainment media, someone who identifies strongly with a character in a show may grow to deeply desire to be that character. They can choose to follow the character’s career path and other aspects of their life because of this desire. His narrative does not revolve around his meteoric ascent to become a billion-dollar brand; rather, it has not been an easy trip.
His interest in acting began, as already mentioned, in high school after starring in an Anti-Bullying PSA produced by the drama club, then he got scouted for modelling during his senior year of college, everything changed. This unanticipated turn of events brought him to New York City acting school. His perspective on the world changed, and his curiosity was piqued beyond belief. You can never be an expert at acting, so the secret to longevity is to always take on the next challenging project. Matteis has been pursuing his passion with unflinching persistence for about nine years now.
Some people have practiced carrying such a heavy load for years, or it comes naturally to them. Subsequently, there is additional pressure from both society and anxious individuals on themselves to maintain composure and convert their anxiety into calmness. He made his screen debut in “Broken Hearted“, where he landed the lead part in addition to his first feature picture role. He has never been afraid to put himself through challenges. He has always been able to act better than he believed he could thanks to nerves. This is due to the fact that adrenaline partially offsets the accumulation of lactic acid. When he thinks back on it, Matteis remembers feeling a combination of pressure and excitement, similar to how he felt in his early collegiate football career. With more than 80 sequences in the movie, he accepted the difficulties and demonstrated his dedication to developing as a leading man.

Every character is a part of you
As he examines his characters, Matteis admits that each character he plays has a little bit of himself. His acting decisions are informed by his feelings and experiences, which helps him establish a bond with the role. The idea that an actor transforms into the character is false. The performer is the character, after all. An actor gives the part everything they have. As stated by Marlon Brando, “Every character is a part of you“. However, certain regions are nearer to us than others. When Elia Kazan talked about discovering your inner character, this is what he meant. Even if he may identify more with some characters than others, Matteis welcomes the variety of parts that push him to experiment with different aspects of his craft.
Despite not being a theatre actor, Matteis says he has the utmost regard for anybody who put on live performances for an audience. He discovered a television actor within. By doing this, he pivoted in a way that was unfamiliar to others. He is now putting a lot of effort into establishing a strong career in television and cinema, but he is thinking about going into theatre in the future. His happiness, grief, fury, jealousy, and innocent traits are advancing him on the arena. He drew inspiration for his performance from whatever was going on around him. He remains still. He’s alive. A blend of skill, intuition, craftsmanship, creativity, and experience went into his invention. To act is to discover that truth. Advocacy is no exception. Excellent attorneys don’t hesitate to be authentic, regardless of their identity. “Wow!” is the reaction one gets when a lawyer embodies himself in the courtroom. That attorney is indeed real!

The role of Neapolitan cultural heritage
Chris Matteis has a particular place in his heart for his cultural background and Campanian ancestry. It would be an understatement to say that he cherishes his Napulitan roots and cultural heritage. Family members spoke ‘o Nnapulitano (Neapolitan language) to him all of his childhood. He observes Neapolitan customs on vacations. Classic Neapolitan tunes performed by tenors like Enrico Caruso were among the first songs he heard when he was a child. Even without his personal ties, Matteis continues to draw a lot of inspiration from Napoli. He is enthralled with the dynamic city with its passion, art, anarchy, and rich history. Inspired by the renowned Mount Vesuvius looming in the background, he revels in the enthusiasm of enjoying life to the fullest.
Conclusion
Although Matteis has a particular place in his heart for Napoli, he hasn’t been to Campania yet, but he intends to change that shortly. It is a place of mesmerising scenery, well-known for its food, music, and art, as well as a vibrant economy. Textiles, tourism, winemaking, food processing, and a few emerging businesses including technology, manufacturing, shipbuilding, and petroleum refining are the sectors in Naples that are growing the fastest. His path serves as an inspiration for aspiring actors and a celebration of the vast cultural diversity that distinguishes him as he continues to create waves in the acting business.
There is something else about his Neapolitaness but will let you tell it directly from him.
Q.: You are a fan of the Chicago Bears for football, the New York Yankees for baseball and Napoli for soccer. What memories do you have of Diego Armando Maradona?
C.M.: “Oh, you mean D10S? Just that he’s the greatest calciatore of all time! He left Napoli before Iwas even born, but his accomplishments at the club are immortalized in the spirit of Napoli.
Q.: What do you think Napoli team is missing from their last “Scudetto” today?
C.M.: ”If only I knew the answer to that! LOL . Honestly, it feels like this Napoli team is missing that spark, or that magic, from last season, and I think a big part of that was Spalletti (please come back! lol). Forza Napoli Sempre!”
Q.:Is there a Neapolitan actor or actress with whom you would like to act?
C.M.: ”Yes! There’s a few actually. I loved Gomorra and think Salvatore Esposito and Marco D’Amore are fantastic. I also really enjoyed White Lotus season 2, and in particular, the work of Simona Tabasco. I think it would be amazing to work with the three of them one day!”
Q.: What is your biggest dream?
C.M.: “To be able to wake up every day knowing that I get to act for a living. Tutt’appost!”
